Family Owned and Operated for OVER SEVENTY YEARS!
When you see the gigantic statue of The Old Lobster Fisherman out front, you know you've arrived at Brown's Wharf. You'll be delighted with everything you find here, starting with the warm, friendly service and your comfortable accommodations. All have color TV, in-room phone and a private deck over the water. Just picture yourself relaxing on your deck, enjoying a panoramic view of the harbor dotted with fishing boats and pleasure craft!
The Old Salt Shed Lounge is a charming spot to enjoy your favorite beverage. In the early 1700s, it was used to store salt. The salt then went into the holds of fishing schooners and was used to salt cod.
Our Brown's Wharf Restaurant is so popular with both local folks and visitors that we advise you to make your reservations early when staying with us! For over 70 years, we've been famous for our delicious seafood dinners. The lobsters and other seafood we serve are fresh from local waters.
You can also enjoy excellent fishing from the dock and many times see lobsters crawling underneath the dock in their natural habitat.
If you come by water, we have outstanding docking facilities for your boat. For more info, visit our Marina Page.
"I have been back to Brown's Wharf often enough to become part of the family...and it's a nice family to be part of."
